Heejoo Park (she/her) completed her doctoral studies at the University of California, Riverside, in English. She is a scholar of 20th and 21st-century American literature and culture whose current research is situated at the intersections of Asian American studies, Latina/o/x studies, and speculative fiction studies. Heejoo received her master’s degree from Boston College and her undergraduate degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where she also studied photojournalism and developed an interest in multimedia storytelling.
